We Got Nex” is an Urban National Talent Search, the only one of its kind. Unlike the more popular talent search shows that you may be familiar with, “We Got Nex” is open to all genres of music including Spoken Word; with a focus on artist with a passion for promoting a positive message that will empower the future generations. With the cameras rolling, the most gifted artist in the country will have an opportunity to compete on an even playing field and earn their right to tell the world “We Got Nex”.  We will crown five champions in front of a panel of star studded judges and thousands of teenagers on June 25-27, 2006 at the world famous Foxwood Resort in Connecticut.  

 

We Got Talent? We Got Passion? We Got a positive message? Then register for the “We Got Nex” talent search by visiting www.urbanimpactsummit.com. The first round will be comprised of each contestant auditioning through regional open calls. The performance will be evaluated by a panel of judges and the contestant will be notified that day whether they have been chosen by the judges to move on to the Quarter-finals. The Quarter-finals through the finals will be held on June 25-27 at the world famous Foxwood Resort in Connecticut. Only 100 contestants will reach the Quarter-finals. The second round is comprised of each of the Quarter-finalist audition in front of a live panel of celebrity judges. Only 20 contestants will be chosen to move on to the Semi-finals on June 26, 2006. The Third round is comprised of the Semi-finalist auditioning in front of a live panel of celebrity judges. Only 10 contestants will be chosen to move on to the Finals. The Fourth round is comprised of the finalist competing head to head for an opportunity to win:

 

The MVP of the tournament will win over $100,000 in prizes:

·        $3000 signing bonus for single

·       Free ‘New Artist Showcase” on the Bobby Jones Urban Impact Show on the Word Network valued at over $10,000

·       Artist studio time at FSG music lab, valued at over $15,000 plus

·       The production of track for single by all star production team, a value of $20,000 plus

·        State of the Art graphic artwork and website design

·       Marketing and PR development through RealSource Marketing, valued at over $25,000, including establishing artist website
